Touched Romania's Annual Report

The ministry of Touched Romania is committed to standing with the approximately 41% marginalized in Romania, assisting one woman and family at a time, with Christian relief, development and prevention services, bringing them to a place of wholeness, thereby enabling them to embrace God’s calling for their lives.
This past year, Hagar Home maternal center hosted 7 mothers and 12 children for periods between 4 months to 1 year. All of them were victims of domestic violence, poverty and social exclusion. Two of them were at risk of being trafficked. Another 4 mothers and 9 children benefited from our transitional housing project, for a period of 6-12 months. These numbers represent families that have come to know Christ in a personal way and are growing in their faith, as they continue to receive discipleship.
In addition to this in 2014:
19 people received ongoing individual counseling services, 14 former residents were a part of our support group and 27 women were interviewed for openings in our maternal center.
10 children received monthly support and services through our community foster care program
16 children were provided daycare/educational scholarships.
22 at risk mothers received professional independent life skills preparation and attended workshops by our jewelry making project, Touched Collection. Of these, 4 mothers were legally employed as jewelry designers and trainers in 2014.
32 children attended summer kids camp.
300 children in 3 children’s hospitals and 1 child protection institution in Bucharest were cared for by 35 people who were part of our local volunteer program.
30 families from the community were provided with food and clothing donations on a weekly basis.
4 teams were hosted from the United States.
At the request of the local Romanian community Hagar Home is in the process of expanding our ministry to include a “Center for Counseling and Community Integration” that will provide Christian counseling and short-term independent housing for families who are in the process of re-entry into the community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers and financial support as the ministry has grown and developed this year. I am so grateful for your faithful partnership which allows us to continue to minister in these ways.
May God continue to be your strength and portion in the days ahead! (Psalms 73:26)
Sincerely,
Raegan Glugosh Missionary, Assemblies of God World Missions
